Anna & Astrid vom Herzweil
Let’s start with the essentials. We are a dogloving family!
And that family consists of Anna & Michael, our son William, a handfull of dogs and a horse named Paula. We live on the countryside, close to the ocean, in the south of Denmark.
Kennel Rexlinger was founded by Anna & her mother Marianne in 2014 and the first litter of rottweilers under the name “Rexlinger” were born the same year. But our story with dogs began much earlier….
Anna was born (in Sweden) to a dogloving family and grew up with many dogs and different breeds over the years. From norwich and border terrier to english bulldog, and of course rottweiler. The breed with a special place in our hearts.
From agility in the back yard to running around show rings all over the country, the passion for dogsport came at an early age.

Michael had to wait a little longer for his first dog. But at the age of 12 the first dachshound moved in. It was followed by a few more dachshounds, a labrador/german shepherd mix and a golden retriver.
But in 2002 Michael decided that rottweiler was what he wanted. And after that, it was all about rottweilers. Until the day the chihuahua moved in…
Under the prefix “Stensby”, Michael has bred a few rottweiler litters but the focus was always dogsport. With several of his rottweilers Michael competed at national and international top level in IGP, including several IFR IGP World Championships.

We have completed the breeder education courses from both the Swedish & the Danish kennel club as well as DKK Masterclass for breeders.
We are also active members of our breed clubs.
