We have a new female in the kennel

Marianne is from the same litter as our beloved Sigge, and we have been given the amazing
opportunity to borrow Marianne for our (hopefully) first chihuahua litter!
We believe that no kennel or line is stronger than it’s females. A good foundation bitch is the
cornerstone of a successful breeding program and finding that right female is not an easy
taskโฆ There are no perfect dogs, we must always prioritize, but we believe that Marianne is a bitch with many important qualities that can contribute to the breed, and we are so grateful
for this opportunity.
Marianne comes from a healthy, strong line of females. Marianne has previously had one
litter, and like her mother, she takes good care of her puppies and can whelp naturally. For
me this is super important, especially with a breed like chihuahua.
Marianneโs mother Harley is a strong producing bitch. She has had four litters (12 puppies)
all born naturally. 8 checked for patella all 0/0. 8 checked for eyes โ 7 free.
Neither Marianne nor her mother Harley are what you would call typical “showdogsโ. But in
12 puppies Harley has produced no less than five national, Nordic and international show
champions. Her grandchildren are also showing great promise with several champions and CAC/CACIB awarded young dogs.
Marianneโs father Rebell (import Lithuania) has also proven himself a good producer. With good health statistics and several champions in only 17 puppies.
Like her siblings Marianne is an alert and lively little dog. She adapts well to new surroundings; she is social and well balanced. Moving in with a new family (full of rottweilers and a small child!) at age 5 would be a challenge for any dog. But Marianne has fitted in so well, and
she is just the sweetest little dog. Maintaining this breed typical mentality is also very important to us.
